Somer Valley Foodbank

Every day people in the UK go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. Trussell Trust foodbanks provide a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis in the UK.

The Somer Valley Foodbank is run in partnership with local churches facilitated by St John's Church in Peasedown St John. The foodbank network is part of The Trussell Trust, a Christian charity committed to community action against poverty and marginalisation in the UK and Bulgaria.

We support the Somer Valley Foodbank through food donations (which can be left in the container in the Church lobby) and as a distribution point on Friday's, between 12pm - 2pm.
